Everyday, 66,000 people from unreached people groups die having never heard the Word of God. Today 40% of all people groups, or nations in the world remain unreached. World Mission seeks to fulfill the great commission by providing the Word of God to unreached people groups.
We define the unreached as a people group among which there is no indigenous community of Christians with adequate numbers and resources to evangelize without outside assistance. Following the Holy Spirit’s lead our ultimate objective is to see these lost souls come to Christ and begin an indigenous church-planting movement.
Jesus said to go and make disciples of all nations. But just what is a nation? A nation is a group of people bound together by the same culture, manners, customs, and other distinguishing features. World mission works closely with a networks of national partners who speak the language and are working to create relationships within the indigenous communities where they minister.
Our volunteers serve in their local communities and make a global Kingdom impact. Not only demonstrating the love of Christ to everyone entering LIFE IN CHRIST MISSION, but partnering in distributing the gospel and providing humanitarian relief to unreached people.
While the world is home to just 195 countries, if we think in terms of nation, there are 16,500! World Mission prioritizes the 6,685 nations that are considered unreached. Despite being unreached they are less than 1% of all funding given to missions. Even you guys could volunteer them through us! We reach the unreached!
